Students: Registering for Office Hours with Your Counselor

Meeting with your counselor during Office Hours is easy on Scoir! You can register right from your Dashboard or the Visits & Deadlines page.

Registering from Your Dashboard

On your Student Dashboard, find the Register for Upcoming Events section on the right. Click Register next to your counselor’s Office Hours to reserve your spot.

If you do see Office Hours but not the one you’re looking for, click See All to view everything on the Visits & Deadlines page.

If you don’t see any Office Hours listed, your counselor may not have scheduled them yet. We recommend reaching out to your counselor to confirm.

Registering from the Visits & Deadlines Page

  1. From your Scoir account, click Me and select Visits and Deadlines
  2. Here, you’ll see your upcoming Application Deadlines, College Visits, and any available Office Hours set up by your counselor. Use the filters on the right to narrow your view.
    If you don’t see any Office Hours listed, your counselor may not have scheduled them yet. We recommend reaching out to your counselor to confirm.
  3. For each Office Hours availability, you’ll see the date, time, location (if provided), and how many students are registered. Click the checkmark to register.

Once registered, you can view the details anytime on your Visits & Deadlines page or right from your Dashboard under Register for Upcoming Events.


Unregistering for Office Hours

You can unregister from Office Hours on your Dashboard or from the Visits & Deadlines page.

From your Dashboard:
In the right panel, find your upcoming Office Hours (up to three may appear). Click the Registered button below the session you want to leave, then confirm that you want to unregister.


If you don’t see the session listed, click See All to open the Visits & Deadlines page, where you can view all available Office Hours.

From the Visits & Deadlines page:
You can also go directly to this page anytime by selecting Me > Visits & Deadlines in the top navigation. Find the Office Hour you want to remove, click the green Registered checkmark, and confirm your choice.



Attending Virtual Office Hours
  1. If your counselor’s Office Hours are virtual, go to the Visits & Deadlines page when it’s time for your meeting.
  2. Find your scheduled Office Hours and look for the Meeting Link section
  3. Click Launch Meeting to join (Zoom, Google Meet, etc.)
Make sure pop-up blockers are disabled in your browser so your meeting link opens correctly!
