For Counselors: Adding a college that isn't showing up in Scoir

If you're looking for a college in Scoir and it's not coming up in the main search, it may still be available to add. Some colleges, especially international universities, specialized schools, and trade programs, aren't searchable through the main search bar but can still be added to a student's college list.

  1. Go to the student's profile, expand Colleges & Applications and select My Colleges.
  2. Click the +Add College button at the top right.
  3. Select the column where the college should be added — Suggested, Applying, or Applied.
  4. Begin typing the name of the college into the search bar.
  5. When you see the college, click on it to select it, then click Add College.
  6. If you're adding the college to Applying or Applied, follow the prompts to select an application method and deadline, then click Save.
If the college still isn't coming up, contact our support team with the college name. We'll look into whether it can be added and help you with next steps.
