For Colleges: Importing School Reference IDs

This article only applies to colleges participating in Apply Coalition with Scoir.

Why School Reference IDs are important

If coursework and school-scoped materials land in batch acquire, it may be because applicants manually added a school that we don't have on record in Scoir, and as a result, the material can't match with a school.

School Reference IDs are included in both the incoming application files and your materials batches to ensure reliable matching criteria exists in all cases.

Import School Reference IDs

Ensure these fields are serving their intended purpose by importing the new reference ID for each school reported on an applicant’s profile and leveraging this ID as an additional matching option for course and material imports. You will need to create a custom school-scoped field to store this data.
