Introduction: Integrating Slate with Scoir

Scoir supports automated file delivery via SFTP, the method recommended by Technolutions for imports into Slate. We've partnered with Technolutions to provide preconfigured Source Formats that make connecting the two platforms straightforward.

You can use this integration to automate the delivery of application documents into Slate, available to all colleges on Scoir. Institutions on a Starter, Growth, or Enterprise package can also automate the delivery of Handraiser data, a daily list of prospective students who have opted in to share their information with your institution. Both use the same SFTP connection and you only need to set it up once.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, make sure you have:

  • Access to your institution's Slate instance
  • A Scoir account with the required roles:
    • Account Administrator role + Admissions Operations role — required for automating document delivery
    • Account Administrator role + Handraisers role — Required for automating Handraiser data delivery
If you do not have a Scoir account, or are unsure if your account has the required roles, contact your college's Scoir Account Administrator or contact us.

Setup Steps

Integrating Scoir with your Slate instance is quick and easy. Follow these three steps:

Step 1: Prepare Slate to Recieve Data and Documents from Scoir

Add the required Scoir Service Account and Source Format(s) in Slate. Step-by-step guide

Step 2: Connect Slate and Scoir

Enter your Slate details in Scoir to set up the SFTP connection and turn on delivery. Step-by-step guide

Step 3: Map Scoir Student Data and Documents in Slate

Map incoming application documents to the correct fields in your Slate instance. Step-by-step guide
